Our steam engine – a historical witness<\/h2>\n\n

The steam engine in the historic Birgel watermill dates back to 1917 and was originally operated in a brewery. After extensive dismantling and reconstruction, it was restored with great dedication and is now fully functional again. With an output of 80 kW, it drives the oil mill and impressively demonstrates the power and technology of times gone by. Visitors can see its impressive performance for themselves during a demonstration as part of the Technology Days<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n
