There are three options for golfing in the Bitburg area in the south-west Eifel; the facilities in Baustert (9-hole course, par 68), Burbach (Lietzenhof golf course, 18-hole course, par 70, public 6-hole course) and Wissmannsdorf (Bitburger Land golf resort, 18-hole course, Par 72) offer a lot of variety, although the courses in Burbach and Wissmannsdorf have greater technical demands due to their hilly topography.<\/p>\n

There are also three offers for golf in the North Eifel and the Ahr region; the extensive facility in Bad M\u00fcnstereifel (18-hole course, par 71) offers a lot of tranquility due to the adjacent nature reserves and is only about 30 minutes by car from Cologne. On the fairways of the golf course in Mechernich-Satzvey (18-hole course, par 72) one always has Zievel Castle in view, but old trees and streams form additional obstacles here; this is also the case on the course in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler (18-hole course, par 72, 9-hole course, par 27), which is why particularly precise strokes are required.<\/p>\n
