Foi um dia maravilhoso e inesquecível para mim e para os meus convidados.
Todos os convidados com quem falei depois da festa ficaram encantados com o ambiente único e a variedade do Mühle.
Gostaria também de agradecer e elogiar a cozinha.
Esta não foi, de certeza, a nossa última visita ao histórico moinho de água de Birgel.

Querida equipa Mühlen,
Tivemos a oportunidade de passar três dias inesquecíveis contigo. Tudo foi maravilhoso, desde o nosso original e confortável apartamento com jardim até ao sumptuoso buffet de pequeno-almoço, os deliciosos menus de 4 pratos e a visita guiada a todo o local do moinho. Ficámos impressionados com o facto de todos os moinhos e equipamentos funcionarem e de os produtos caseiros serem servidos nos restaurantes. Experimentámos todos os tipos de pão, mostarda, cerveja e algumas bebidas espirituosas e muito mais e achámos tudo excelente. Dica: podes comprar tudo!
É um museu vivo, habitável, com um fator educativo e lúdico, construído e gerido a título privado por Erwin e Mariette. Uma caraterística invulgar é a corrente do moinho, visível através do chão de vidro do restaurante, que continua a ser utilizada – juntamente com a energia solar – como fonte de energia. Aqui podes experimentar a sustentabilidade em todo o lado. Isto inclui também o ambiente descontraído e amigável que prevalece tanto para os hóspedes como entre si.
Fiquei encantada com esta alegria exuberante de decorar com arte e tralha. O velho e o não tão velho, o especial e o banal e cada objeto do quotidiano, por mais pequeno que seja, é valorizado e tem o seu lugar … e esta bela decoração floral em todo o lado – obrigado!

Eine sehr schöne Anlage! Der Enthusiasmus und die kreative Fantasie, die in jedes Detail geflossen sind, schaffen eine Atmosphäre, die diesen Ort einzigartig macht. Hier wurde die Kunst, alten Gegenständen neues Leben einzuhauchen, meisterhaft umgesetzt, und jedes Element erzählt seine eigene faszinierende Geschichte. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Funktionalität der restaurierten Mühle – ein Beweis für das geschickte handwerkliche Können bei ihrer Wiederherstellung. Hut ab vor dieser Leistung!Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir das Wohlfühlarrangement in vollen Zügen genossen. Jeder einzelne Aspekt trug dazu bei, dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlten. Angefangen bei den Mahlzeiten, sei es das Frühstück mit dem duftenden selbstgebackenen Brot oder das köstliche Abendessen, bis hin zum aufmerksamen Service und der Möglichkeit, mit Erwin die faszinierende Kunst des Bierbrauens zu entdecken.Es ist deutlich spürbar, dass das gesamte Team nicht nur professionell, sondern auch mit viel Herz und Leidenschaft bei der Sache ist. Die aufmerksame Betreuung ließ uns zu jeder Zeit umsorgt fühlen, und unser Aufenthalt wurde zu einer rundum angenehmen Erfahrung. Es steht außer Frage, dass dieses außergewöhnliche Erlebnis bei uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird und wir gerne wiederkommen.
Wir hatten das Vergnügen, das Wohlfühlarrangement zu erleben, und es hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Angefangen vom herzlichen Empfang bis hin zur Abreise fühlten wir uns durchgehend wohl. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von der faszinierenden Mühlenführung und dem Einblick ins Bierbrauen. Diese Erfahrung hat unsere Wertschätzung für die erstklassigen Produkte aus der Mühle, darunter das köstliche Brot, der aromatische Senf, die erlesenen Brände und das hervorragende Bier, noch gesteigert. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das seinen Namen wirklich verdient hat! Vielen Dank an Erwin und das gesamte Team!
Wir können die Mühle und das gesamte Team einfach nur weiter empfehlen. Wir haben unsere Hochzeit dort gefeiert, inkl. Standesamt, Essen und Übernachtung. Allesamt waren wir super zufrieden und total begeistert von den tollen historischen Gebäuden und der rustikalen Einrichtung. Wir würden es immer wieder so machen, es war einfach alles perfekt!! The watermill and everything about it is very interesting, there is a lot to see. Atmospheric. Own brewery with delicious beer, cozy beer garden. We enjoyed a really delicious meal in the restaurant. Breakfast also excellent with fresh rolls and pretty much everything you could wish for. We also really liked the long hours, luckily you can sleep in and get ready at your leisure in the spacious bathroom. Everything was spotless. Good beds. The area is beautiful with many nice roads and ideal to explore with a convertible, so we ended up unplanned at De Kasselburg Castle, a very nice surprise. Worth repeating this short holiday. Staff were friendly.
Went to the mill for 3 nights, had half board and are definitely a kilo heavier now. The food was good, nothing more and nothing less. Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff. Everything was decorated for Christmas - you have to like that.... The tour of the facilities was given by Karl, who did an excellent job. We also got to know the boss, Müller Erwin, briefly. There's quite a personality cult going on, but he seemed quite likeable and authentic.The large circular route is very varied, and a stop at the alpine pasture is recommended.
A very nice facility! The enthusiasm and creative imagination that went into every detail create an atmosphere that makes this place unique. Here the art of breathing new life into old objects has been mastered and each element tells its own fascinating story. The functionality of the restored mill is particularly impressive - a testament to the skillful craftsmanship involved in restoring it. Big props for that performance.During our stay we enjoyed the feel-good arrangement to the fullest. Every single aspect contributed to the fact that we felt completely comfortable. Starting with the meals, be it breakfast with the fragrant home-baked bread or the delicious dinner, through to the attentive service and the opportunity to discover the fascinating art of brewing beer with Erwin.It is clearly noticeable that the entire team is not only professional, but also puts a lot of heart and passion into their work. The attentive care made us feel cared for at all times and our stay was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. There is no question that this extraordinary experience will stay with us for a long time and we will be happy to come back.
We had the pleasure of experiencing the feel good arrangement and it lived up to all expectations. From the warm welcome to departure, we felt very comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the fascinating mill tour and the insight into beer brewing. This experience increased our appreciation for the mill's top-quality products, including the delicious bread, aromatic mustard, fine brandies and superb beer. An all-round successful experience that really deserves its name! Many thanks to Erwin and the entire team!
The food (simple dishes) is tasty, but too expensive for home cooking.The restaurant menu does not change, it seems to be standardized.I like the ambience, it is rustic and beautifully decorated. The mustard is great 👍.
Very nice celebration. But that wasn't the host's fault. I've never met a rude host. I'm a gastron myself and can judge that. The ambiance beautiful. Food ok.Staff was nice and friendly.Wouldn't recommend this mill to anyone for a wedding. Because it could be the unforgettable day of your life.
Good place to eat with a great view and environment. I had a good meal and dessert, pork with pepper sause and potatoes/gemüse. It it pricey though, so don't expect a cheap meal but it was worth it in my opinion
Attended a wedding, the entourage is nice, the food consists of local products, and of home made products. It is well balanced and of good quality. The party was nice, the catering good and sufficient. Taxis to the hotel were available and arranged fast.

Mesmo que tenha sido apenas uma noite, gostámos muito. O cantar do galo às 4 da manhã e o barulho dos gansos fizeram-me lembrar o nosso último local de residência, numa pequena aldeia. Foi fantástico e dormi melhor do que há muito tempo não dormia.
Voltaremos de certeza em breve, e depois por mais uns dias.

Na quarta-feira, 16/08, nós, os seniores de serviço da cidade do Luxemburgo, visitámos-te. Foi um dia maravilhoso e também muito interessante. Muito obrigado por esta visita tão agradável e também um grande obrigado pelo delicioso almoço. Fomos recebidos muito amigavelmente em Birgel e os nossos seniores puderam contar muitas coisas no caminho para casa.

No sábado anterior, à noite, estivemos no vosso esplêndido restaurante para um banquete verdadeiramente delicioso e, além disso, fomos servidos de forma radiante e agradável por uma bonita empregada de mesa. Acrescente-se a isso a conversa amigável à mesa com o seu chefe Erwin! Nós, os felizes 13 (= grande família de maio), ficámos muito contentes e satisfeitos convosco e recomendaremos calorosamente a vossa super casa – e esperamos voltar a ficar convosco um dia destes – apesar dos 130 km de distância!
Para além de todos os elogios, teríamos gostado de saber por que razão identifica os seus fogos como “…brannt”. Também os provámos e achámos que eram deliciosos!

Isto significa mesmo toda a gente.
A água é a bebida mais forte porque conduz os moinhos. Mas vocês, como equipa, são ainda mais fortes. Não te podes sentir melhor como hóspede. Todos são tratados de forma calorosa, familiar e carinhosa. E todas elas parecem naturais e confiantes.
Isto é único e cria uma atmosfera que já não se encontra em nenhum sítio como este.
Toda a gente tem o “vírus Erwin”. A qualidade da comida e das bebidas não pode ser superada. Por favor, não se deixem inocular… só pela família Spohr.
Assim, nós, como hóspedes (amigos), sentiremos sempre que estamos num oásis de bem-estar convosco. Obrigado por isso Por serem como são, em breve terão de nos aturar de novo.
