Vorrei ringraziare di cuore te e tutto il team per la splendida organizzazione della mia festa di compleanno del 6 luglio 2024.
È stata una giornata meravigliosa e indimenticabile per me e per i miei ospiti.
Tutti gli ospiti con cui ho parlato dopo la festa sono rimasti entusiasti dell’ambiente unico e della varietà del Mühle.
Vorrei anche ringraziare e complimentarmi con la cucina.
Questa non è stata di certo la nostra ultima visita allo storico Mulino ad acqua di Birgel.

Caro team Mühlen,
Abbiamo potuto trascorrere tre giorni indimenticabili con voi. Tutto è stato meraviglioso, dal nostro originale e confortevole appartamento con giardino alla sontuosa colazione a buffet, ai deliziosi menu a 4 portate e alla visita guidata dell’intero sito del mulino. Siamo rimasti colpiti dal fatto che tutti i mulini e le attrezzature funzionano e che i prodotti fatti in casa vengono serviti nei ristoranti. Abbiamo provato tutti i tipi di pane, senape, birra e alcuni liquori e altro ancora e li abbiamo trovati eccellenti. Suggerimento: puoi comprare tutto!
Si tratta di un museo vivente e abitabile con un fattore educativo e di divertimento, costruito e gestito privatamente da Erwin e Mariette. Una caratteristica insolita è il ruscello del mulino visibile attraverso i pavimenti in vetro del ristorante, che continua a essere utilizzato, insieme all’energia solare, come fonte di energia. Qui puoi sperimentare la sostenibilità ovunque. Questo include anche l’atmosfera rilassata e amichevole che prevale sia nei confronti degli ospiti che tra di loro.
Sono rimasta incantata da questa esuberante gioia di decorare con arte e cianfrusaglie. Vecchi e meno vecchi, speciali e banali e ogni oggetto di uso quotidiano, per quanto piccolo, è apprezzato e ha un posto… e questa bellissima decorazione floreale ovunque – grazie!

Eine sehr schöne Anlage! Der Enthusiasmus und die kreative Fantasie, die in jedes Detail geflossen sind, schaffen eine Atmosphäre, die diesen Ort einzigartig macht. Hier wurde die Kunst, alten Gegenständen neues Leben einzuhauchen, meisterhaft umgesetzt, und jedes Element erzählt seine eigene faszinierende Geschichte. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Funktionalität der restaurierten Mühle – ein Beweis für das geschickte handwerkliche Können bei ihrer Wiederherstellung. Hut ab vor dieser Leistung!Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir das Wohlfühlarrangement in vollen Zügen genossen. Jeder einzelne Aspekt trug dazu bei, dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlten. Angefangen bei den Mahlzeiten, sei es das Frühstück mit dem duftenden selbstgebackenen Brot oder das köstliche Abendessen, bis hin zum aufmerksamen Service und der Möglichkeit, mit Erwin die faszinierende Kunst des Bierbrauens zu entdecken.Es ist deutlich spürbar, dass das gesamte Team nicht nur professionell, sondern auch mit viel Herz und Leidenschaft bei der Sache ist. Die aufmerksame Betreuung ließ uns zu jeder Zeit umsorgt fühlen, und unser Aufenthalt wurde zu einer rundum angenehmen Erfahrung. Es steht außer Frage, dass dieses außergewöhnliche Erlebnis bei uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird und wir gerne wiederkommen.
Wir hatten das Vergnügen, das Wohlfühlarrangement zu erleben, und es hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Angefangen vom herzlichen Empfang bis hin zur Abreise fühlten wir uns durchgehend wohl. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von der faszinierenden Mühlenführung und dem Einblick ins Bierbrauen. Diese Erfahrung hat unsere Wertschätzung für die erstklassigen Produkte aus der Mühle, darunter das köstliche Brot, der aromatische Senf, die erlesenen Brände und das hervorragende Bier, noch gesteigert. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das seinen Namen wirklich verdient hat! Vielen Dank an Erwin und das gesamte Team!
Wir können die Mühle und das gesamte Team einfach nur weiter empfehlen. Wir haben unsere Hochzeit dort gefeiert, inkl. Standesamt, Essen und Übernachtung. Allesamt waren wir super zufrieden und total begeistert von den tollen historischen Gebäuden und der rustikalen Einrichtung. Wir würden es immer wieder so machen, es war einfach alles perfekt!! The watermill and everything about it is very interesting, there is a lot to see. Atmospheric. Own brewery with delicious beer, cozy beer garden. We enjoyed a really delicious meal in the restaurant. Breakfast also excellent with fresh rolls and pretty much everything you could wish for. We also really liked the long hours, luckily you can sleep in and get ready at your leisure in the spacious bathroom. Everything was spotless. Good beds. The area is beautiful with many nice roads and ideal to explore with a convertible, so we ended up unplanned at De Kasselburg Castle, a very nice surprise. Worth repeating this short holiday. Staff were friendly.
Went to the mill for 3 nights, had half board and are definitely a kilo heavier now. The food was good, nothing more and nothing less. Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff. Everything was decorated for Christmas - you have to like that.... The tour of the facilities was given by Karl, who did an excellent job. We also got to know the boss, Müller Erwin, briefly. There's quite a personality cult going on, but he seemed quite likeable and authentic.The large circular route is very varied, and a stop at the alpine pasture is recommended.
A very nice facility! The enthusiasm and creative imagination that went into every detail create an atmosphere that makes this place unique. Here the art of breathing new life into old objects has been mastered and each element tells its own fascinating story. The functionality of the restored mill is particularly impressive - a testament to the skillful craftsmanship involved in restoring it. Big props for that performance.During our stay we enjoyed the feel-good arrangement to the fullest. Every single aspect contributed to the fact that we felt completely comfortable. Starting with the meals, be it breakfast with the fragrant home-baked bread or the delicious dinner, through to the attentive service and the opportunity to discover the fascinating art of brewing beer with Erwin.It is clearly noticeable that the entire team is not only professional, but also puts a lot of heart and passion into their work. The attentive care made us feel cared for at all times and our stay was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. There is no question that this extraordinary experience will stay with us for a long time and we will be happy to come back.
We had the pleasure of experiencing the feel good arrangement and it lived up to all expectations. From the warm welcome to departure, we felt very comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the fascinating mill tour and the insight into beer brewing. This experience increased our appreciation for the mill's top-quality products, including the delicious bread, aromatic mustard, fine brandies and superb beer. An all-round successful experience that really deserves its name! Many thanks to Erwin and the entire team!
The food (simple dishes) is tasty, but too expensive for home cooking.The restaurant menu does not change, it seems to be standardized.I like the ambience, it is rustic and beautifully decorated. The mustard is great 👍.
Very nice celebration. But that wasn't the host's fault. I've never met a rude host. I'm a gastron myself and can judge that. The ambiance beautiful. Food ok.Staff was nice and friendly.Wouldn't recommend this mill to anyone for a wedding. Because it could be the unforgettable day of your life.
Good place to eat with a great view and environment. I had a good meal and dessert, pork with pepper sause and potatoes/gemüse. It it pricey though, so don't expect a cheap meal but it was worth it in my opinion
Attended a wedding, the entourage is nice, the food consists of local products, and of home made products. It is well balanced and of good quality. The party was nice, the catering good and sufficient. Taxis to the hotel were available and arranged fast.

Anche se si è trattato di una sola notte, ci è piaciuto molto. Il gallo alle 4.00 del mattino e il chiacchiericcio delle oche mi hanno ricordato il nostro ultimo luogo di residenza in un piccolo villaggio. È stato fantastico e ho dormito meglio di quanto non facessi da tempo.
Torneremo sicuramente presto e per qualche giorno in più.

Mercoledì 16/08 noi del Servizio Anziani della città di Lussemburgo siamo venuti a trovarvi. È stata una giornata meravigliosa e anche molto interessante. Vi ringraziamo per questa bellissima visita e anche per il delizioso pranzo. Siamo stati accolti in modo molto amichevole a Birgel e i nostri anziani hanno potuto raccontare molte cose durante il viaggio di ritorno.

Gentili signore e signori, o meglio, cari padroni di casa!
Il sabato sera precedente siamo stati nel vostro splendido ristorante per un banchetto davvero delizioso e, per di più, siamo stati serviti in modo radioso da una graziosa cameriera. A questo si aggiunge la chiacchierata amichevole con il tuo capo Erwin! Noi, i 13 felici (= grande famiglia May), siamo stati molto contenti e soddisfatti di voi e raccomanderemo calorosamente la vostra super casa – e speriamo di soggiornare di nuovo da voi qualche volta – nonostante i 130 km di distanza!
Al di là di ogni elogio, avremmo voluto sapere da lei perché identifica i suoi fuochi come “…ramificati”. Abbiamo assaggiato anche questi e li abbiamo trovati deliziosi!

Questo significa davvero tutti.
L’acqua è la bevanda più forte perché spinge i mulini. Ma voi, come squadra, siete ancora più forti e non potete sentirvi meglio come ospiti. Tutti voi siete trattati con calore, familiarità e amore. E tutti appaiono con disinvoltura e naturalezza.
Questo è unico e crea un’atmosfera che non si trova più così.
Tutti hanno il “virus Erwin”. La qualità del cibo e delle bevande non può essere migliorata. Non fatevi vaccinare… solo dalla famiglia Spohr.
Così noi ospiti (amici) ci sentiremo sempre in un’oasi di benessere con voi. Grazie per questo Perché siete come siete, presto dovrete sopportarci di nuovo.
