Start of guided tour
In the bakery, visitors are shown how loaves of bread are made from sourdough and baked in the stone ovens. This bread can be purchased in the mill shop.
Visitors then visit the grain mill and the sawmill. While grain is ground in the mill, a water-powered horizontal creel cuts wood in the sawmill.
In the mustard mill, our visitors learn how the mash is made from mustard seeds and how Eifel mill mustard is produced. You can also “make your own mustard” here by arrangement. How we produce our own rapeseed oil is explained and demonstrated using the oil mill, which dates back to 1841. In the distillery gallery, you will be shown a restored and fully functional schnapps distillery. You can also get a free sample of our homemade liqueurs, such as sloe or herb liqueur. By arrangement, we also carry out schnapps samples.
