Natural mustard according to our own historical recipe
In the historic mustard mill, the head miller produces his own mustard according to old and self-developed recipes, using purely natural ingredients.
The four different types of mustard are available in the mill shop on site. The versatile aromatic mustards are now also available in the mill’s own online shop and can finally move into your own kitchen shelf.
The different types of mustard introduce themselves
The historical mustard , as the name suggests, is considered to be the origin of all of the mill’s own mustards and is one of our most popular varieties. The recipe dates back to 1820 and is still tasty today. Whether with cold or hearty warm dishes. It gives the mustard sauce a wonderfully piquant note. Vegetarian or with meat? This mustard can be used anywhere.
With a honey content of 30%, our honey mustard is characterized by its natural sweetness. The combination of sweet and spicy goes perfectly with poultry, meat and fish. As a honey mustard sauce, it turns every green salad, paprika, corn and Co. into a delicacy.
Our champagne-cassis mustard tempts with its particularly noble mildness. A Moutarde Royal refined with champagne. The mild mustard goes well with roasts, grilled meats and fish. But it also tastes particularly noble as a salad sauce.
Our garlic mustard combines two worlds of taste: our historical mustard refined with ground garlic. This mustard tastes great with salad and gives every dressing a special flavor. It is also perfect for Greek specialties such as gyros and cevapcici. He makes sausages of all kinds a delicacy. A varied taste experience from the glass.
Mustard courses and workshops – just make mustard yourself
In order to enjoy the mustard production yourself, the historic mustard mill offers, among other things, a romantic baking and mustard course or various mustard group workshops . The workshop is for young and old and invites you to take a look behind the scenes of a mustard factory.
