Our sloe brandy with an alcohol content of 43% vol., Is a special brandy specialty made from the fruits of the blackthorn. Sloes are one of the most famous wild fruits in the Eifel. The fruit is only edible after the first frost and reveals its sweetish-tart taste note. Before that, it tastes so bitter and sour that every attempt to eat it ends up being a failed one.
