Description
Traditional mill whisky from the Eifel
Our mill whisky with an alcohol content of 43% vol. is a real eye-catcher, and not just because of its golden color. Its elaborate production process also makes it unique among our fine brandy specialties. Mühlenwhisky is based on the same process as beer brewing. Head miller Erwin prepares a mash in the in-house brewery. The mash is then distilled in our distillery, resulting in a beer spirit. Finally, this spirit is stored in oak barrels, which gives it its unmistakable Mühle-Original taste and the delicious Mühlenwhisky is born!
How do you enjoy the brandy?
At around 18 to 22 degrees, the aromas can develop perfectly. When enjoying whisky, the sense of smell and the so-called “locking” of all its different aromas plays a major role. In order to enjoy whisky in all its diversity, it is important that it touches all parts of the tongue to activate the various taste receptors. Unlike our other brandy specialties, our whisky is best enjoyed neat and separately from food, which can distort the taste.
